about

Back in the late 90's Benjamin Jacobs, Bob Hall, Chris Ford and Doug Shipley formed the band 'The Jolly Lamas' out of their beautiful town of 29 Palms California. Practicing in a golf course clubhouse at night they quickly developed their sound and soon toured throughout the southern california club circuit. - Two seconds to the moon was recorded in a weekend!.. so you can't ever say these guys were lazy.. not to mention.. two of the members of the band at the time were inlisted Marines!.. so OohRah!

Two Seconds to the Moon earned the Jolly Lamas a nomination for "Best Local Recording" at the 1998 San Diego Music Awards, and another nomination in 2001 for best adult alternative album. This album also received attention from motion picture and television industries when the song "Yank My Chain" was featured in the indie classic The Others (1997) and the song "Football Hero" was performed on Late Night with Conan O'Brien.

The revised version is simply remastered with additional songs never heard before.
